Summary: During this trip to Australia, our family had stayed five nights each in Melbourne and Sydney. In Melbourne, we stayed on the 47th floor of a high-rise with a kitchen fully equipped with utensils and a beautiful view. The price was very reasonable. In Sydney, the location of this hotel was excellent, with convenient transportation, an outstanding breakfast, and very friendly staff in the dining area. However, I was very dissatisfied with the accommodation itself. For all five nights, we were assigned to the lowest floor, only the 3rd floor. The worst part was that I actually encountered cockroaches in the bathroom — something I had never experienced before, even though I often travel for business and leisure. After reporting the issue to the front desk, I never received any apology from the hotel manager, not even a note, nor was I offered a room change. On the last night, I and my family didn’t even dare to take a bath in the bathroom, and every visit there made me feel uneasy. Overall, aside from the dining experience, my impression of this hotel was very poor.
